This day in 1958, an Englishman, Sir Edmund Hillary, had crossed borders from Europe and headed over to be the first man at the South Pole. Today, another Englishman, Benjamin Baker is crossing borders to join a USA based home team.
The team and the Englishman are both well known. Evil Geniuses have signed the popular terran player from Europe called DeMusliM. In his previous avatar, he was a long standing member of mTw right from his days of Warcraft 3 glory.
Evil Geniuses have been planning a big move to Korea coming soon and with stalwarts of the game like EG.idrA, EG.iNcontroL and the warcraft 3 super star EG.Grubby, adding a terran player was but natural. DeMusLiM has been a good player of the game since the beta days and has participated in many recent tournaments. Last he was seen was casting with TaKe on popular games for Euro Cups. DeMusLiM is known to be a loyal team member and thus should bolster the ranks significantly with this team transition.
DeMusLiM had this to say in the official release, "I am thrilled to announce that henceforth I shall be playing under the prestigious Evil Geniuses banner. I would like to thank the mTw management team for all their support, encouragement, and their professional cooperation during my transfer. Also, I would like to wish my friends (ex-teammates) a very successful year unless of course they face me in upcoming tournaments!”.
GosuGamers spoke to EG.iNcontroL who had this to say, "We are very excited to add such an enigmatic, talented and highly touted terran player to our roster. He will make everyone around him better and bring his future successes under the EG banner!"
DeMusLiM will be the first player from Europe to compete for team EG and will be joined soon by the much awaited transition of the Dutch Superstar EG.Grubby. Gosugamers congratulates Ben on the move and wishes him the best of luck for the future.
