Having earned a surprising 4th place finish during last year's World DotA Championship (WDC) in Wuhan, fans around the world were shocked after witnessing AEON.MuFc's shocking group stage exit in SMM 2010.
Following his team's lackluster performance Nick 'Silvercross' Chang Sheng Lim has decided to part ways with his squad and bid goodbye to DotA, at least until after DotA 2's release.
Lim also cited differences in opinion and 'internal conflict' as the main reason for his departure, adding that he has not played nor talked to his ex-teammates after the SMM fiasco.
When asked whether he will continue playing in the Asian DotA Championships (ADC) for AEON.MuFc, Lim replied:
GosuGamers also received word that other MuFc players like DeejaySharky and x|aoling might also be leaving the team soon but this has yet to be confirmed.
And not to forget all of my loyal fans out who have been rooting for me," said Lim in his goodbye address.
Current AEON.MuFc Roster:
Litt-Binn 'WinteR' Chan (captain)
Raymond 'DeejaySharky' Kie Yong Wong
Kiat Kin 'Redsun' Loo
Woi Cheong 'x|aoling' Sim
