GOMTV StarCraft 2 Open Ro4 Day 2 - Live Report

Today at 11:00 marks the start of the second semi final, where we will see LiquidJinro take on his team mate oGsMC. Follow the games on GosuGamers minute-by-minute report.

12:13 - Oh, man. oGsMC has such confidence. He predicted this to maybe go 4-1, and he says he will have an easy time against TSL_Rain in the final.

12:04 - Aaand, there we have it. One Protoss, one Terran in the final. TSL versus oGs. Rain against MC.

12:00 - We're in a stalemate, there's nothing for Jinro to do, not being able to scan the dark templars. MC just rebuilding his base now. Jinro can do nothing.

11:57 - Jinro moving his SCVs and marines to the base of MC. Jinro will be doing some damage, taking the pylon. Dark Templar inside Jinro's base though.

Jinro has killed off Jinro's base, MC is now being revealed. Jinro's Command Center is killed off. Wow. Both players with barely no bases at all.

Both players being revealed, but MC has a Nexus being built.

11:55 - Jinro has an SCV standing outside MC's base. MC scouting MC, sees the double barracks. Double gateway for MC, followed by a Twilight Council.

That SCV outside the base now builds a Factory. Building an Armory, Thor rush!

MC lays down a Dark Shrine though. Dark Templar against Thor.

Game 4 - MC vs. Jinro @ Jungle Basin

11:53 - MC warps in at top left, JinrO lands at bottom right. "LickidJinlo".

No wall-in for Jinro this time either. Really interested to see what both players will do. MC with one game left to win until he reaches the final. Jinro, must be feeling really bummed.

11:49 - MC shows why Terrans are relying too much on bunkers. Those force fields are so effective. Jinro concedes, now down to 0-3. Not looking happy.

11:46 - First Void Ray is out. MC moving out with two sentries, two stalkers and two zealots. Jinro having some base defense.

Two Void Rays out. 8 marines for Jinro, plus three more in the bunker.

Jinro in a lot of trouble, marines are way off from the side. Mules and SCVs repairing the missile turret, but MC has just too many units.

Game 3 - MC vs. Jinro @ Shakuras Plateau

11:42 - Game three has begun! Jinro in the bottom right, MC in the top left.

Standard play from both in the beginning. MC goes for a Stargate, probably Void Ray. Jinro takes his natural expansion.

Reaper scout for JinrO in MC's main. Does not see the Stargate.

11:37 - The break is over, we'll have Shakuras Plateau in just a couple of minutes.

11:28 - Jinro going for an all-in attack with his SCVs and his infantry units, but MC can defend well. Jinro GGs, the Swede now down 0-2.

11:26 - MC has sizable force now, decides to move in to Jinro's expansion, guarded by a wide set of marauders and two bunkers. MC goes in, the sentries laying down some great sets of force fields, hindering SCVs to repair the bunkers, hindering the units to act accordingly.

Great attack by MC! Jinro having to lift off his Orbital Command, losing not only his expansion but also the most of his troops.

11:23 - MC expanding, MC with six sentries, three stalkers and a zealot. Jinro also taking his natural expansion.

Jinro getting two more barracks.

11:21 - Jiunro spots the double gas of MC, still keeping his SCV inside the Protoss base. Sentries coming out for MC. Jinro with a double Barracks, one Marauder out.

Game 2 - MC vs. Jinro @ Xel'Naga Caverns

11:19 - Let's see what Jinro (bottom left) can do on Xel'Naga Caverns. No wall-in this time either, but this map has a much bigger distance between the two so we won't see a zealot rush like in last game.

11:15 - MC's double zealot build is really tough against Jinro, moving them in to the Terran base. MC manages to kill off a set of marines, until Jinro has his bunker laid down. MC continues to reinforce, now with two stalkers in there. Jinro has 10 SCVs off mining, trying to kill the scouts.

Game 1 - MC vs. Jinro @ Steppes of War

11:12 - Game has started! Steppes of War, we have Jinro in the top right, MC in the bottom left.

Both players with scouts in each other's bases. Jinro stole a mineral chunk off MC's base. Jinro's marine forcing MC's probe out of there - actually kills it.

Jinro builds a Factory at the downside of the left-side base. Two zealots out for MC.
