A Moment with AEON.MuFc

This week, GosuGamers caught up with one of the 'mastermind' from AEON.MuFc to talk about their recent performance at the World DotA Championship as well as the upcoming SMM Grand Finals.

Hello there Winter, although its weird to say this but could you give a little introduction about yourself as well as what role does your team member play to the readers of GosuGamers in case somebody doesnt know who you are? *jokes*
- ''Hello, my name is Chan Litt-Bin, also known as Winter. I'm the captain of MuFc and i play ganker. Sharky is another ganker in our team. Silvercross is our carry while Ling plays semi-carry. Redsun is our supporter.''

Can you tell us a little bit of your team's history?
- ''We were previously known as fishnet, but after Silvercross and Sharky joined in we became the team MuFc today.''

How is the DotA scene in Malaysia looks like comparing with other countries in the SEA region? Is it active? Are there teams that you think have the potential to reach the level of gameplay as MuFc and Nirvana?
- ''DotA scene in Malaysia is good, very active just that constant banning of top teams in local tiered tournaments are decreasing exposure from normal teams playing with top teams which is not helping their progress to the next level.''

Currenly there are hardly any teams that have potential to reach the top level caused by the banning system, only iG-ice has the potential.

So do you think that a new system should be introduce in order to stop banning top teams from joining local tournaments? What kind of system should it be?
- ''They can ban top teams and have amateur tournaments, but have to balance it up by having enough platform for advanced teams to play.''

Lets move on to the WDC just held recently in China. Are you satisfied coming back home with 4th place? Or do you believe that the team deserve a better result?
- ''Yes i'm satisfied, we just came short of 3rd place but achieving 4th place is already a hard task which we have accomplished.''

Several new heroes' are chosen for draft games such as dazzle, invoker and syllabear which are rarely featured. Do you think that a new type of playstyle will emerge soon?
- ''Probably every team has their own style as long as u can justify your picks, its no problem.''

MuFc drafted Enchantress in their WDC game, what was suppose to be the main purpose for that? Does it fit in the playstyles nowadays as we dont see this hero for quite a while?
- ''At first, we wanted to pick Chen but decided to take Enchantress as it got buff in the new version and with scepter she is good.''

DTS used 3 solo lanes in their games against EHOME in the group stage, will we see more of these laning rather than the trilane? Do you think this playstyle is suitable?
- ''Yea its suitable, totally depends on the team and tactics they used.''

Let's get back to MuFc. SMM is just around the corner, how is the team getting ready for the event?
- ''We are getting ready for SMM soon.''

What is MuFc's goal for the future? Any LAN tournament that MuFc will be attending?
- ''Not much goals at the moment. Just trying to have fun, we cant play it professionally in Malaysia unlike China, we'll just do our best !

For now, it is only SMM. There is no major LAN to be heard of, maybe we'll attend Ipoh LAN tournament.''
