Before the final showdown between the two top teams commenced, DTS took on Aeon.MuFc in a non-chinese third place play-off. The small final was an amazing series with a thrilling game three, featuring an epic comeback by the Ukrainians.
ArtStyle, Dendi (who played Shadow Fiend in all three games) & Co, ultimately held up against a reputable Malaysian team, which attended with neither a coach, nor a manager and contained players, who weren't afraid to mix their style up.
The Grand Final emerged, as a rather onesided affair, especially in game one, where Nirvana.cn opted for a nuke- and disable-heavy draft and upstaged Deity convincingly. The concluding game two proceeded not as single-edged, but featured more turnarounds and a better early game phase for Deity.
186 and Ferrari dominated on top, by keeping Banana in his place and demolished both lane towers quickly. Successful teamfights for Nirvana turned the game around however and enabled them to gain back control. It took a few pushing attempts, but good furtune was on their side in the end, as they sealed the game in their favour.

The overall amount of trophy money is 200.000 RMB (~ €21,600) and will be split into 100,000 RMB (€10,800) for Nirvana.cn as champion and 50,000 RMB (€5,400), 30,000 RMB (€3,250) and 20,000 RMB (€2,150) for the Runner-ups Deity, DTS and Aeon.MuFc.
The event just ended with the final ceremony and the teams will go on their homeward journeys. For those who didint make the playoffs counts, better luck next time at SMM in december.
