Chinese Universities
The university undergrads are coming into the competition as underdogs. Virtually nothing is known about them and this could work to their advantage. With no track record to speak of, they retain the element of surprise and will keep other top-tier on their toes.

Having just won the Razer Global Challenge a day ago, morale is definitely high in the Nirvana camp. Loveen -- the sole owner of the Nirvana e-Sports brand and WDC organiser -- will be banking on his 'home' team to deliver.

An unprecedented victory seems likely for Nirvana's all-star line-up, which includes YaphetS and Zhou, but it will still be a daunting challenge nonetheless.

The Retry
The Russians have built a legacy around themselves in the early years but were hit hard by cases of unprofessional behaviour and inconsistent results.

Still, this company of 5 is Russia's best bet; with the likes of ex-Virtus Pro star Smile and controversial character pgg in the thick of things, they have what it takes to come out tops if they play their cards right.

Roccat.Trust
The Siamese team recently made headlines when they utilised Batrider to pin down YamateH's Shadow Fiend with lethal efficiency. Since then, the team has faded from the limelight, looking to strike another killer blow on an unsuspecting team.

Nobody expects them to win WDC but one can regard them to be a thorn in the flesh for the duration of the competition.
