The qualifiers, which the attendees had to go through, were high-class and enduring, but 7 contestants ended up qualifying successfully. The remaining 8th is none other than StarsBoba, Vietnam's best team, who have finally managed to join a Chinese competition after the unfortunate happenings prior to the Intel Extreme Masters, 3 months ago. Their first match will be against the qualifying 4th-place-finisher Dream, while Nirvana.Cherry will face the temporarily renamed TYJ.LGD; CHN are set to play against NvFrdCH and EHOME against Gmx.
The event is structured as a Double Elimination tournament tree with best out of one matchups over the period of the 28th until the 30th of October. The prizepool comprises 135.000 RMB (approx. EUR 14.700) and will be split into 70.000 RMB for the 1st, 30.000 RMB for the 2nd, 10.000 RMB for the 3rd and 5000 RMB for the places 4 to 8.
