NWO takes on DTS in showmatch #4

GosuGamers and dota.178.com are proud to announce the fourth showmatch as part of the GosuGamers Showmatch Series. On Sunday, October 3rd, 17:00CET, New World Order will play DTS in a best-of-three series in -cmub mode.

This week's showmatch will be a very special one, featuring arguably the best, most accomplished, and certainly the most enduring European DotA team, DTS.chatrix, as they test themselves against the the newly-formed and potentially world-beating outfit New World Order.

DTS have been on a hot streak since their second place finish at ESWC Paris, summarily dismissing new challengers to the European throne one after another, and in a fashion that would suggest a gulf in class between them and the rest of the Western world. Even the mighty LOST.eu fell in two games during the MYM Prime Defending playoffs, while the famed LGD.sGty only took one game in four, issues of fairness and online lag notwithstanding. Coming off the back of those famous results, DTS must certainly be considered the undisputed kings of Europe.

In contrast to the fame and admiration DTS have enjoyed, NWO have not yet even made their pro-scene debut, only having shown up in a couple EEDL replays and RGC groupstage matches. While there are not many results to speak of, the players themselves inspire a great deal of discussion: with luminaries such as Azen, Kuroky, Puppey, Miracle, Pajkatt and March, conventional wisdom undoubtedly places this team in the class of DTS. However, admirers of these DotA geniuses have yet to glimpse their strength against top tier opposition, and thus there is still much to be proven.

TobiWanKenobi and Synderen will once again be shoutcasting, so make sure you visit DotACast.com to not miss a beat of this tremendous occasion.

Tune in this Sunday, October 3rd, 17:00CET to see not just a showmatch, but a clash between the old guard and the young turks; see the reigning champs defend their public pedestal from the hungry new challengers; or perhaps most importantly, get ready to see "Kuroky = Korok = autodl" versus "Oh my God! This is LightofHeaven!"

There will be spills, thrills, instances of "Kurokai" and "Dendai" thrown around left and right, maybe even a special appearance from "Puppai"?! Ladies and gentlemen, your trusty news-writer has gone mad with excitement and is only speculating -- but whatever you do, don't miss the game. And for the love of God, don't forget to all-in your tangos!
