Warcraft 3 duo to Evil Geniuses

A longstanding relation between Axslav and StrifeCro has now brought them together in a new game and a new team.

Nick "Axslav" Ranish and Cong "StrifeCro" Shu, two ex-Warcraft 3 players, one known for playing random and the other for his love of the huntress, who also formed one of the best 2v2 teams of all time, are now back once again. This time is under the Evil Geniuses tag and playing Starcraft II. Axslav, also renowned for his non-spam APM approach to games and his extraordinaire ability to think outside the box, has now decided to go protoss full time, while StrifeCro is now the second zerg in the roster.

The Official statement reads:

Team EG's StarCraft II division has just been strengthened even more with the signings of Nick 'Axslav' Ranish and Cong 'StrifeCro' Shu who have already been playing with the team for several weeks now. These two individuals bring a wealth of experience to the table from having competed in WarCraft III at the highest level in North America. Both are perhaps most known for their exceptional team play, which means they will be the official 2v2 team for EG.sc when the opportunity arises.

Both players are in the NA server top 200 with a similar record as well. Axslav is currently ranked 61st with a 341-241 record, while StrifeCro sits at the 116th position with a 327-232 record. Given their experience in RTS's, both as single players and as a duo combined with the fact that they are now in an american team with some pretty good players to practice with, one can only expect them both to break into the top 50 any time soon.
