Predy's first ZOTAC StarCraft 2 Cup victory

The last matches of the Sunday's regular ZOTAC StarCraft 2 Cup have just been played out, seeing Tomáš "Predy" Pospíšil to win three to one over Johan "NaNiwa" Lucchesi, and taking home 100 Euros.

The starting signal of the 24th edition of the ZOTAC SC2 Cup with 512 participants fell at 14:10 CET today. It attracted many well-known players, such as Dennis "HasuObs" Schneider, Hayder "HayprO" Hussein, Pedro Moreno "LucifroN" Durán, and Eugin "Strelok" Oparyshev.

The Czech player Predy, winner of the Intel Extreme Masters qualify in Czech Republic, defeated the German stationed Swedish Protoss NaNiwa with a score of 3:1 in the finals of today's tournament.

Predy passed players like LucifroN, HayprO and Strelok on his way to the final. NaNiwa took down Adel "adelscott" Scott and Tomasz "Tarson" Boron with ease.

The final went over four maps, featuring Blistering Sands, Metalopolis, Lost Temple and Kulvas Ravine. The Swedish only could win on the second map, whereas Predy secured his win by defeating NaNiwa on the other maps. Predy therefore earns 100 Euros.
