What did you think about that first game and the new heroes?
The first game was very fun with the new heroes. TB, AA, Shadow Demon, Gyrocopter – it’s very new in CM mode.
Who do you think got the better ones, you or them? They had Shadow Demon and Gyro, but you had AA and TB.
From my perspective, it was even. *laughs*
Shadow Demon is a hero that can control middle lane well, and Gyro is a good carry hero. But we also had AA for controlling mid, and TB as carry.
After game 1, I think we took it more seriously. And as for some of the new heroes, like Wisp and Far Seer, we still do not have any tactics with which to handle them because these heroes in –ub mode have not been picked very much.
What did you think about the second game? We've seen you guys use batrider and win so many games. What happened second game, and how did CH handle your famous bat?
CH handled him well by sticking together as 5 early on, before our Batrider had his blink or BKB to engage. *laughs*
What do you think about the final game? Were you guys surprised you beat CH so decisively? Do you think it was because they made mistakes, or picked poorly, or did you guys just play at a higher level that game?
One of their mistakes was in the early game, at the bottom forest, which gave us many kills. So this made the lane much easier to play.
Anyway, I think my team did very well in the last game. We controlled every movement of that game.
Do you guys have plans to attend international LANs outside of Asia? Will it be possible for you guys?
Er, sure, if we get the chance and our sponsor desires to support us – sure we will. And yes, I think there is a possibility .
The teams we fear the most are the teams from China, like LGD and Nirvana.cn. The team that we would like to beat the most is ... still LGD.sGty. *laughs*
Does that mean that outside of the Chinese teams you fear no one else? Also, is there any reason you want to beat LGD the most? Do you feel they're the strongest team in the tournament?
Outside of Chinese teams we fear no one. Chinese tactics are very similar to ours, and with their performances they can handle us. I think LGD may be the strongest team in the ADC tournament.
Aside from Batrider, what heroes do you think have the potential to show up in the near future? Like when Ehome introduced Venomancer to competitive play, do you see any other less-used heroes making that kind of impact?
I think we may see Tormented Soul, with his new casting range for the first skill Split Earth. And maybe QoP – lakelz requested that! *laughs*
[‘lakelz’ is ‘Roccat-TR|LK-‘ who played a very dominant QoP in game 3]
Do you guys follow the Western scene at all; i.e. watch replays of the top teams?
Sure. Like DTS and LOST.eu – their style is very different from Asian teams – and it’s very powerful!
Mainly the EU style, I think, is about ganking hard, and thus hard control of the game. Asians like to control the engagements and farm for late victory (most teams).
Well for example, at ESWC, Ehome destroyed all of the top European teams. Do you think it was because EU style is weaker, or do you think their skill/teamwork is weaker?
This is how the EU style and Asian style are different: Ehome used Medusa to farm and had everyone else handle the engagements. So when the EU teams tried to gank, Ehome did well and won the games by escaping these fights to farm more.
I do not think EU teams are weaker, but the way they can fight Chinese is by successfully ganking the Medusa and controlling the rest of the game. If they can manage this, the Asian style will fall as well.
DTS and LOST.eu, among others, will likely go to SMM and WDC. Let's see if you are right. Good luck to you guys in these upcoming tournaments and ADC as well.
Thank you. We will attend SMM and maybe we can meet some of these EU teams there as well. *laughs*
We will also improve our own skills, so thanks to our fans for all their support!
