Today it was announced that Evil Geniuses, home for well known RTS stars as Manuel "Grubby" Schenkhuizen, Greg "IdrA" Fields, Nick "Tasteless" Plott and Geoff "iNcontroL" Robinson, plans to host a "Masters Cup Series" where the winner out of a 500-player single-elimination tournament will battle for a sponsored MSI GT660 notebook.
The winner will have to do more than go through just the tournament brackets. The final test to pass before winning the $1,500 USD worth notebook is to take down Evil Geniuses player Greg "IdrA" Fields.
Top three from the bracket will share an additional prize pool of $1,500.
The final weekend, on October 30-31st, top 16 will be facing off in a live broadcast which will be hosted by Sean "Day[9] Plott and Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham.
