Darer to give Garena a run for its money?

A new DotA platform by the name of Darer entertainment is set to replace Garena in the near future.

Due to be launched in November later this year, Darer entertainment will initially focus on DotA and will slowly branch out to other games in the near future.

At the launch of their platform, the organization is set to host a public tournament in which a total prize pool of 100,000 Euro with the champion taking home 30,000 Euro.

GosuGamers caught up with people behind the organization for a short interview.

We see that you have a page announcing a 100,000 € DotA tournament. Is there anything you like to say about the tournament?
-"Well, this will be our first tournament and will mark the launch of our website and community. The prize is this big because we want to show all gamers that we have something to offer and that we are all about professional gaming. There will be many more tournaments coming up in the future and we will try to keep the prizes as high as possible."

Is there any sponsor backing up the company?
-"There are no sponsors for now. Our first tournament will be sponsored only by us. We will see what will happen in the future. But we will keep high prizes even if we don't have any sponsors."

When you are going to start your platform?
-"We don't have a set date yet because the development is still in progress. However, we hope that we will be able to launch in a month or two. On November, everything should be up and running."

We can see on the current webpage, that your planning to expand to StarCraft 2 in the future. How do you plan to implement Starcraft 2 into your platform, since it has no LAN mode?
-"In the beginning we will start only with DotA and will add SC2 as soon as possible. Since the only legal way to play SC2 is on Battle.net, we are not going to have servers on our platform where people will be able to play. For SC2 our goal is to provide only ladders, prizes, tournaments as well as a community to SC2 fans.".

With so many stories of unpaid salary issues, Darer entertainment will do a big favor to the community if they payout the tournament prizes in the end.
