For a very long time the StarCraft 2 scene did not hear anything about Jos "Ret" De Kroon. After winning the first ever StarCraft 2 Liquibition, he just disappeared, and nobody really knew where he went. Now he is back, and this with a great partner, and he answers all the questions pertaining to his absence.
On the question where he has been all these months, he says:"I've had a great summer away from my computer! After returning from Korea, I had totally lost the will to play videogames, and focused on weights in the gym, tennis, the worldcup, and rebuilding friendships with old friends!" But continued that he found his motivation when he saw all his friends playing at Gamescom in Cologne.
Will he try his luck in Korea again, playing the GSL? Yes, indeed he is, saying that he needs to catch up with training first, playing only European based tournaments, and that he joins his team mates in Korea after he has finished his driver's license.
Team manager Victor "Nazgul" Goossens said about the new recruitment:
- "Ret has been a top gamer for so long with so much talent for the game but somehow the environment at the time never really worked in his favor," said Nazgul. "I really like the fact that we picked him up even before he won any tournaments, because that's a clear indication of the confidence we have in his capabilities."
