GosuGamers keeps focusing on the international players in the ESL Pro Series Germany. For Carlo "ClouD" Giannacco, who had a tough first round last week, will have a go at GoOdy, a former StarCraft: Brood War rival.

-"It is kind of a grudge match for me because he was extremely bad manner to me for the whole StarCraft: Brood War period and I still don't know the reason. He even resetted his TSL account before we finished a game so I wouldn't get any points for the ladder," says ClouD to GosuGamers.

"There are not really big key factors [for Terran versus Terran], it's a matter of build order and taking enough advantage with it. I will just try to dictate the flow of the game in a way it will be easier to know what to do at the right time."

Is over the huge blow at IEM: 'I feel confident'
The Italian Terran seems confident going into tonight's game, and has gotten over the recent blows from Intel Extreme Masters and the first round of EPS.

- "I just played below my standards and did very stupid mistakes because I was having a bad period overall in StarCraft2. IEM loss was an huge blow to me too but as I said I got over it now and I feel confident for my next match," says ClouD when we ask about the recent results.

Was the fact that you have practiced that much against each other play a role in the outcome? Was it hard to play someone who knows your style that well?
- "I don't think it played a big role in the outcome. He won easily both games. The practice matches are usually close and we win about 50% of the games but I have had some days in which I really struggled to find good openings in early game against all the races so I didn't feel very confident and played it bad. I've gotten past it already but I don't want to take the merit off him. He's a top player and definitely one of the hardest opponents in this German EPS season."

There's only one Zerg player in the EPS, does that reflect the current balance in the game do you think?
- "Of course it does. The thing about Zerg is that they are underpowered in early game and are forced to start at disadvantage in most of the games. But it's not a complete imbalance, in fact in TvZ if they reach mid game without losing too much eco then they are far stronger than terrans. Terran has no counter to Muta/Ling/Banelings on most maps because banelings destroy marines too easily and are very hard to kill if they are sent slightly after lings and mutas."
