Who needs skill when you have meme's?

Blizzard has always little quirks when it comes to cheats in their games. The tease of the Secret cow level in Diablo 2 “There is no cow level”. “AllYourBaseAreBelongToUs” to instantly win in Warcraft 3 campaign among many others. Looks like they haven’t lost their humor with StarCraft 2.

So you’re having trouble beating a level (see below), you get angry enough to the point of walking away before you do something you’ll regret. You’ve counted to ten, thought it all out and you dive back into that mission once again only to see your units dying left and right with no way of winning. Well, don’t worry there’s been a little list compiled over on the official StarCraft 2 forums.

It’s no surprise to anyone who is a fan of one or all of the franchises Blizzard currently has, that StarCraft 2 is full of easter eggs and meme’s. There’s already been a few posted here on GosuGamers including the mercenary Goliath’s avatar being the lead designer. There’s also been reports of Diablo, Metriod and even Ghost Busters making an appearance, but what does all this have to do with cheating to win?

StarCraft 2 cheats
As of this point, only a handful of cheats for the campaign have been found. There has also been research dug into the files of the game to find out there’s still 16 more potential meme’s to be abused. The list as of right now via Sixen on the official forums.

• JaynesTown – Gives resources, the amount is currently not verified.

• MoreDotsMoreDots – Buildings don’t cost anything.

• RealMenDrillDeep – 5,000 Vespene Gas.
Slogan for Kel-Morian Combine the terran faction controlling the planet Moria.

• SoSayWeAll – Disable tech requirements
From Battlestar Galactica, it’s a concluding response to prayer in the Colonial faith.

• TerribleTerribleDamage – Invincibility and 10 times damage done.
From the first Battle Report, a quote from Dustin Browder.

• TyuHasLeftTheGame – Disable victory contidions
In reference to the second Battle Report, when “Tyu” randomly leaves the game.

• WhySoSerious – Adds 5000 credits towards upgrades and mercinaries.

So, as of right now that’s all you can do to cheat your way through the campaign. Though typing in any one of these cheats will not allow you to get any achievements on the mission your currently undergoing. Though you will advance, it also hasn’t been confirmed if using “WhySoSerious” will affect the achievements of buying everything in the armory and all mercenaries.

If you come across anymore, which there are still plenty of be sure to post them here. They could come from anywhere, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was one that had to do with Barney Stinson or even Chuck Norris.
