Wanfest, which is a tournament sponsored by the e-retailer Newegg, is hopping on the StarCraft 2 train to give North American players a chance for $800 in prizes. There will be plenty of time to register, as it closes on August 14th with the tournament getting underway on the 16th of August. There's already some well known players registered including LzGaMeR, qxc and Iefnaij among the already hundred signed up.
Of the $800 prize pool, $500 will go to the victor, second place gets $200 and $100 are for the bronze winner. With the tournament starting in just over two weeks, it will give you plenty of time to practice to make it into those diamond divisions and unlock many achievements and portraits.
