After six days of combating in the StarCraft universe four players were finally qualified to the semi finals of the last major StarCraft II beta event.

We've seen some truly epic games during this week and Day9's attempt to hype up the release of the full game seems to have really succeeded. The chosen eight top-notch players did, despite short preparation time between phase one and two of the beta a great job of entertaining the viewers following the matches.

Surprisingly QXC was able to beat IntoTheRainbow in the last match which granted him a number one spot in group A. This forces a Korean clash already in the semi-final since Tester convincingly won his group without any losses at all.
Idra had some up and downs in this tournament but was able to bring his game together in an all deciding game against TLO. An overlord drop in the third game between the two players was enough to secure him the last spot.
