Dennis 'HasuObs' Schneider, the driving force behind the German team

As expected, both Germany and Denmark teams ended up the European Nations Championship mainround with a flourish, paving their ways to the final brackets.

A
t the close of five playdays of intense challenger, Dennis 'HasuObs' Schneider and his mates have knocked almost all of their opponents to the ground with noteworthy results. Thrashing Belarus, Czech Republic and Bulgaria with 5-0 scores and being bold enough to sweep Russia by 4-1, the ENC 2009 champions have never been is such great shape. The only performance hiatus consisted in conceding defeat against Sweden's magic duet Marcus Sebastian 'ThorZaIN' Eklöf and Arild 'EfFeCt' Bramler, with a tight score of 2-3.

The team totalized 4 victories, just as many as the leaders, with less points earned as a matter of course. Taking into consideration that they managed to punish the Swedes with 5-0, the Russian protagonists do form a formidable team which will be a tough nut to crack in the playoffs. The tree-time champions from Sweden finish third with a little point ahead of Bulgaria's boys, after a never-ending struggle for the last playoffs spot.

The nordic reigning champions went to lead their group snatching the precious spot in the finals from their fellow Ukrainians, who lacked only one point to be on par with them.
With the same points difference, the Finnish landed in the third place despite achieving four wins. And France, lining up solid players like PsYkO and hG, surprisingly conceded three losses and was pushed to the 4th place in front of Serbia and Poland who finish last.
