After a dry spell in May, SMM picks off in Sabah for its third Malaysian qualifiers.
Little has been heard from SMM since they ended their last Malaysian qualifiers back in mid-May. But now, they are back with more DotA action as they head on over to East Malaysia for the Sabah qualifiers. A total of 18 teams were present to battle it all out to get the coveted spot of being seeded into the Grand Finals.
After two long days of hard fought battles, team Avatar was able to defeat Madnet Outlawz from neighborhood Sarawak to claim the championship title for this particular leg of the Malaysian qualifiers. Second runners-up and fourth place finish went to SabahNotHome and Recovery respectively. All four teams are now seeded directly into the Grand Finals where the biggest DotA challenge is set to commence.
