A number of upsets happened in the first round with xLo being knocked out by 1Team1Dream and Kingsurf being disqualified for being late for their match.
The finals ended up in MuFC vs Nirvana.My with MuFC bringing back Undying into play and Nirvana.My picking the alchemist. It ended with MuFC having a much stronger pushing power and beating Nirvana.My to be crowned champions for the first ever Alienware Arena Tournament in Malaysia.
With that victory, MuFC will be seeded into the Alienware Arena Grand Finals. For further updates about Alienware Arena series, do stay tuned to GosuGamers. Note that the replays are using 1.24b and they will be uploaded shortly.
GosuGamers managed to get some time alone with XtiNcT and got him to answer couple of question about the finals.
In the finals against MuFC, Nirvana.My picked Alchemist, why is that so?
-"We had tried alchemist out in a number of games and realized that it in the latest version of 6.67c, it was very imbalance and had very strong lane control. That was why we decided to pick it in hopes to shut down one lane from MuFC"
Even with Alchemist controlling a lane and give Nirvana.My early game advantage, why is it that Nirvana.My still lost?
-"We lost mainly due to bad teamwork and commanding. The lack of Mushi may be a small factor that we lost however we were still managed to get a advantage early game. It was the bad engagements later into the game that cost us and we soon lost the early game advantage."
Well that may have disappointed your fans, do you have anything to say to them?
-"We know that we fail once again but we will train harder for the upcoming tournaments!!!! Thanks and sorry for the fans that are supporting us"
