As the M5 World Championships get closer, teams have begun to qualify to the tournament – with TheOhioBrothers making the list for this year.
Over the last few years, we have seen some fantastic challengers come out of North America for the M-Series tournaments. With the region now having its own version of the Mobile Legends Professional League (MPL) in the form of the North American Challenger Tournament (NACT), they now have a way to continue their growth. While M3 saw BloodThirstyKings making a brilliant run, M4 gave The Valley an opening – and this year we will see another name on the cards.
Although still with many of the same players involved, M5 will have TheOhioBrothers taking on the world. The team consists of SHARK, Hoon, and Mielow, all of whom participated under The Valley at M4 – but are without FwydChickn and MobaZane, who returned to their duties within BTK. However, during the recent NACT Fall Season, BTK found themselves eliminated in third place.
Unfortunately for second-place Avalon, the team which Basic moved on to from TOB, NA would only see one spot at this year’s M5 event, with no chance of a position within the Wildcard event or any alternative routes into the main stage. While it is possible that we could see some players move around during the interim, for now, TheOhioBrothers lineup is not confirmed for M5, and we will have to wait a few more weeks before teams begin to lock in their finalised rosters for the prestigious tournament.
We will have more news on all the qualifying teams and information on both the M5 World Championship and the Wildcard tournament in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to our MLBB channel to keep up with all the qualifying teams and more.
