UniPin continues to empower the women’s esports scene in Southeast Asia, with a Malaysian and Singaporean tournament coming up.
Women’s esports has been constantly on the rise in recent times, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is leading the way, especially after the 32nd Southeast Asia Games broke viewership records with its Women’s Tournament. UniPin is latching onto this, and empowering the women even more with the Ladies Series across the SEA region. Having already seen the Philippines begin its journey, Malaysia and Singapore are next up, with its third iteration, following the first in 2021.
The UniPin Ladies Championship for MY and SG will see its qualifier stage beginning on July 4th and running through to the 8th, with the two best teams from the qualifier moving through to the playoffs for the UniPin Ladies Championship in October of this year. The tournament in its entirety will be streamed via the UnniPin YouTube Channel, giving everyone from around the world a chance to witness some of the best women’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams in action.
Debra Imanuella, the SVP of the UniPin Community had the following to say on the upcoming tournament and Women’s esports in general,
