Keyd Stars continue their lower bracket run at M3

After Onic Esports were eliminated from M3, it was time for another team to depart, as Vivo Keyd went up against BEDEL Esports.

While BEDEL were originally in the upper bracket, they were unable to have a huge impact over their first opponents, EVOS SG, and were quickly sent down to the lower bracket. Today, their new challenger would be the last remaining Brazilian squad, Vivo Keyd, after Red Canids were sent packing yesterday in their first lower bracket series. Keyd were already accustomed to the lower bracket, having dominated GX Squad in their first game – and with this second round still being a best-of-three, they will be looking to do the same once again.

BEDEL’s first game saw Farway on a Ling causing some chaos for the Vivo Keyd lineup, as he jumped in and out of fights, even securing a MANIAC at one point. However, even with a solid lead, BEDEL were unable to close out the game, as a 19-minute Lord fight saw Keyd turn everything around, as they wiped out their opponents and secured the victory. Drafting the Ling again in game two, Bedel were looking to cause the same chaos once again, but sadly, it didn’t come close to paying off this time.

Keyd were relentless this time, even with Farway managing to steal a Turtle away, holding their advantage and choking out the Turkish team from their own jungle. Eventually, Keyd were able to push through with a Lord, as they secured a swift 2-0 victory. With that, BEDEL would be knocked out from the M3 World Championships.

For the Brazilians, although moving forward in the lower bracket, they now have a daunting task ahead of them as their next opponent will be Blacklist International. However, the team have survived the grueling best-of-three series and will now look to a best-of-five series to cause a huge upset tomorrow.
