After over two weeks on break, MPL ID Season 12’s Regular Season returns on September 7, with a fantastic weekend of MLBB action on the cards.
When last we left the Mobile Legends Professional League’s twelfth season in Indonesia, things were looking quite dire for a few teams, while the top of the standings was exactly what we had come to expect. For Rex Regum Qeon and ONIC Esports, the top two spots were already theirs, while Alter Ego Esports,Rebellion Zion, and Dewa United Esports struggle to keep themselves in the running for the playoffs.
For RRQ, they could have had a perfect Regular Season, but losses to Geek Fam ID and AE set them back, giving the reigning champions, ONIC, a chance to catch up. Week 6 will see these two titans going head to head in a magnificent battle which we have become accustomed to seeing. However, RRQ will have their work cut out, as they also face RBL and Bigetron Alpha over the weekend – and the break could have taken the wind out of their sails.
On the other side of things, DEWA’s fantastic Week 1 has been marred with unsteady performances, as they still look shaky as the newcomers. Week 6 gives them a chance to recover, with three series of their own – taking on BTR, ONIC, and EVOS Legends. With that in mind, this is also a big week for the White Tigers, who have only played eight series, compared to the ten and up from the rest of the teams. The Season 11 runner-up will be hoping to cement themselves into the playoffs, with only two weeks of the Regular Season remaining after this weekend.

Week 6 is set to be quite an interesting one for the nine teams in MPL ID Season 12, as they all find themselves on the Land of Dawn, battling to reach the playoffs. While BTR could have the upper hand considering they had more practice at the IESF World Esports Championships, anything can happen when it comes to MLBB.
