DWG.KIA and Gen.G move on to the semis of the LCK 2021 Spring season

It was business as usual once more in the LCK 2021 Spring season as week 7 is over and we have two semifinalists. With DWG.KIA having already guaranteed their spot last week, Gen.G followed up soon after, taking the second and last open slot to the semis. Now that that's all said and done, it's a fight to the finish for the last four playoff spots.

Here is how the table looks right now:

The likes of DRX, Hanwha Life Esports (HLE), T1, and KT Rolster seem the most likely to qualify for the playoffs. The biggest changes to the standings are usually between DRX and HLE by constantly swapping positions on the table each week.

As for the last four teams, mainly Afreeca Freecs (AF), Nongshim RedForce (NS), Fredit BRION (BRO), and Liiv SANDBOX (LSB), it's still all to play for. All four teams are on a similar scoreline with AF, NS, and BRO on four wins and nine losses while LSB has three wins and 10 losses.

This means that the last three weeks will make or break their season. BRO has already started to make up some ground, defeating T1 last Thursday. LSB also took a surprising win against Gen.G.

Week 8 will be taking place this Thursday, 11th March and will end on Sunday, 14th March.
