Pastrytime interviews Brian "TheOddOne" Wyllie in Australia.
After a successful stint casting Battle of the Atlantic, it was revealed Julian "Pastrytime" Carr will be joining the NA caster's desk as a full-time addition.
Julian "Pastrytime" Carr gained internet fame the same way most casters do: keep shoutcasting games, even when no one is watching, until finally someone does. In particular, Pastrytime became known for his work casting Chinese games in English when coverage of the scene was even more limited than it is now. Until recently, he was working in Australia, casting for the Oceanic region.
At the Battle of the Atlantic event, he joined the North American desk for a handful of games: noteably, the most anticipated match between Fnatic and Cloud 9, which he casted alongside Sam "Kobe" Hartman-Kenzler.
Whalen "RiotMagus" Rozelle announced thirteen hours ago that the eSports team was working on bringing Pastrytime over as a fulltime caster for the North American LCS.
"We're working on bringing him over full-time. Dat US Government paperwork. Pastrytime will be joining the NA casting team full-time once he can move to LA."

Visa issues seem to plague eSports from all angles, but it seems the outlook is positive that Pastrytime will be arriving to cast his first NA LCS match in the second week. The response from fans seems mainly positive on Reddit, though some lament his departure from casting in Oceania as the region is new, lacks exposure, and is losing one of it's biggest casting talents.
