Vulcun and Team Coast tie for second

?
Though the veteran teams put up a good fight, the 2nd and 3rd place teams at the end of the Spring Split seize their spot before the end of day 2

NintendudeX holds faithful with his Fiddlesticks picks and whips out again for the third time in a row against Dignitas.  After Zionspartan having an underwhelming prior game, he decides to go with the very comfortable pick of Riven, immediately paying dividends by winning 1v1 top lane.  Luckily for Team Coast, Fiddlesticks would once again hold its merits.

Though things were going so well initially for Team Coast, Dignitas once again proves how good they are at swinging back into things by taking the first dragon, catching up in kills, and also getting the first dragon of the game, allowing them to acquire a 2k gold lead just 13 minutes into the game.

Even though Dignitas has had many gains from their aggression, they went a little overboard and suffered a 2 for 1 trade in the top lane and losing a turret, having them give away a lead and a turret they could have saved. Dignitas, continuing to show their expertise, would take the dragon, but still stand behind Coast in kills while maintaing an even turret score.

After some crazy back and forth action as well as some arguable "throws", Team Coast seemed to have the upper hand.  Dignitas was a bit greedy in attempting to end which catered to Team Coast and almost made Dignitas meet their demise.  With proper coordination and a wonderful game ending push, Team Coast was able to take the victory.

Going back to what looks like Season 2 playstyles, Yorrick is picked yet again to attempt to 2v1 by Nientonsoh while Doublelift gets the comfortable free farm on his hyper-carry Kog'Maw.  Both teams start the game off immediately getting each other's turrets down in the side lanes.  While Counter Logic Gaming grabs the first dragon, Vulcun grabs first blood and middle turret.

Even though CLG had the initial advantage, Vulcun were abrupt in their playstyle, stopping CLG in theit tracks by keeping massive amounts of pressure on all lanes.  Consistently pushing CLG outside of their lanes and thwaring their efforts of ganks allowed Vulcun to stay in the drivers seat even when they were behind in gold, but unfortunately for them, Doublelift has been getting a lot of free farm and CLG constantly acquired every dragon on the map.

Dragon after dragon was pouring gold into the pockets of CLG, but Vulcun was really adament about taking turrets, keeping things still in favor of Vulcun.  Eventually, Vulcun's team-comp and poke was absolutely relentless, slow pushing mid until CLG's inhibitor was down with no repercussions due to the lack of engage on a superb poke comp.

Though CLG did find some favorable engages, Chauster failed to land any noteworthy crescendos, allowing any possibility of winning a teamfight to wane from possibility.  Since CLG could no longer hold the siege while also contesting baron and defending multiple super minion waves, they eventually crushed under the pressure and were defeated against Vulcun.
