Here's a quick rundown of everything that happened:

  • After the IEM Katowice break, it was Team Vitality who looked to stumble a bit out of the top three EU teams, dropping what might be a pivotal match against G2 Esports when it comes to playoff seeding.
  • Fnatic definitely carried the momentum they obtained from playing at IEM, defeating the new-look Giants Gaming and bringing a close contest to Team Vitality.
  • Origen, on the other hand, managed to just bounce back from their disappointing IEM performance and overcame a tough Unicorns of Love squad who continue to be experiencing a downturn as of late.
  • Elements and Splyce still continue to battle it out for staying out of the relegation/promotional tournament.

And here are some of our favorite highlights from this past week:

Team Vitality vs G2 Esports

What to look for:

  • Lucas "Cabochard" Simon-Meslet busting out the Nasus.
  • Erlend "Nukeduck" Holm busting out the Azir.
  • Mixed results from the busting.

Fnatic vs Team Vitality

What to look for:

  • Martin "Rekkles" Larsson somehow not taking over the game on Jhin.
  • Nukeduck somehow not taking over the game on Gangplank.
  • A really tight game contested game that turned on a play from Cabochard's Nautilus of all things.

ROCCAT vs Origen

What to look for:

  • All the mechanical outplays by ROCCAT. Yes, that happened.
  • ROCCAT continuously throwing themselves against turrets.
  • The upset of the upset.
