Statement by Mynuts:

I expect this Dreamhack to be the best one yet, the booth looks bad ass and the quality of the teams attending is higher than usual.

My goal this Dreamhack is to crush Kyle's soul. I don't really care about our placement since I already have three top 3 placements at DH, as long as we beat the other sG team I'm happy.

The team I'm looking forward to play the most is the Russian team, cause I'm looking forward to see Nova on carry. In the end the winning team is going to be the sG team which has the best nerves on the big stage.

Statement by Limmp:

It's DreamHack Summer so I expect a lot of men in very short shorts. Besides that I am pumped for the event and think that we will win and defend our DreamHack Championship from Winter. That is our goal, that is my personal goal and that is what I believe will happen.

On the road to that title I want to play at least once against iMpunity because Shuiyu is a really cute guy! ?

Statement by Haxxeren:

I expect this DreamHack to be as great and entertaining as the last DreamHack was - htis time with my team winning the event, of course!

As for teams I am looking forward to play, I can't wait to face the Thai team. I have heard a lot of good things about them, now I want to see it.

And as stated above, we going to win! sG.EU BABY! ?

Statement by Fittske:

I expect DreamHack to be a ton of fun – as it is always like that – but I also expect it to be really successful for us. My goal is to win the title or at least get to the finals and play our fellow sG team there.

Despite that I am looking forward to playing the Russian team as they are new to the mix and they compete with NoVa in the carry position. Going to be a lot of fun. In the end I think it will be a „green“ final with us against the other sG team.

Statement by zai`:

DreamHack is always quite entertaining, especially if you own like I do every time. This time will be no difference, we will come to DreamHack as the Champions and we will leave DreamHack with the check yet again. Don't have a favorite that I would like to play, we going to beat them all anyways so they just blur together regardless. ?

Team Breakdown

The proud team of Stay Green Europe has went through a slump on a very high level lately with back-to-back second place finishes at the big offline events in Bangkok and Las Vegas. The Runic Shift tournament did not go in their favor at all and after that the reigning and defending DreamHack Champions went MIA because of their fixed invite for the DreamHack Summer 2013 festivities. So how good are they currently?

No one can really say for sure, but the scrim results lately and the confidence in the team is reason enough to believe that one of the most dominant teams in HoN might return back to the top step of the podium after being abscene of that shiny spot for almost 4 months now. The team chemistry seems to fit, the individual skill is still there and the constant scrim competition against the best of the best teams in the world are contributing factors to sG.eu's prospect of coming back with a vengeance. On top of that the mainly Swedish roster will be more than eager to return back to the #1 spot on their home turf.

The question now is, if it is enough to overcome their inhouse rivals of the original Stay Green team, the very same team that ousted them at the GSL Grand Finals and in the Hardwood Suite in Las Vegas, Nevada to claim the crown of HoN Tour Season 1. All other opponents seem to be manageable and beatable for the new green squad with Mynuts, Fittske, zai`, Limmp and the Danish carry Haxxeren.

Can they overcome the month long drought at the place were their reign began?

Special thanks to the squad of Stay Green Europe for their cooperation and their quick response time with the statements and the additional information. Also special thanks to Mischa Tan and Kyle Bautista for allowing the usage of her pictures.
