Artosis sweeps ek0p out of SSC

?

It was a short and unsuccessful SeatStory Cup for the DogeHouse member ek0p, who got swept out of the tournament today by his team mate Artosis. During the entire tournament the German couldn't win any matches and lost 4-0 twice.

The confident and emotional player ek0p is the first one to be out of the running for the first ever SeatStory Cup trophy in Hearthstone. The Alpha Doge of the team is closing the chapter of a rather disappointing SSC campaign with a record of 0-8, including a loss against his arch rival Trump to open the tournament.

Today the emotions of the player were on display perfectly, as he played on tilt for most of the four matches. Especially against the aggressive Murloc deck Artosis played, the pressure really got to ek0p and he was throwing his arms up in disbelieve, sighing and even sarcastically giving the thumbs up to his opponent. Nothing could stop the swarm of Murlocs to run over ek0p, not even his special deck of Handlock, with which he lost after Turn 6 being forced to [card]Shadowflame[/card] his 4/8 [card]Twilight Drake[/card] to keep his chances alive. It only prolonged the inevidable and so Artosis finished him off.

The same quick affair was in the third game, when both tried out their Murloc decks. Artosis got off to a much better start, snowballed from there and had a bit fortune with ek0p's game bugging due to him making to many "rash" movements, tilting a bit more. That's how his hand bugged and out of frustration he played [card]Ironbeak Owl[/card] instead of a Murloc. No matter what he did, the burst in Artosis' hand with [card]Leeroy Jenkins[/card] and [card]Power Overwhelming[/card] was too much regardless.

That left ek0p to his last deck, in which he went for Druid. Once again Artosis had the perfect draws with by keeping his Murloc board out of [card]Swipe[/card] range with [card]Coldlight Seer[/card]. The finishing point was once again burst, this time for 14 damage stringing [card]Leeroy Jenkins[/card], [card]Power Overwhelming[/card] and [card]Soulfire[/card] together.

For ek0p the weekend in the tournament has come to an end, for Artosis the fun ride continues with another member of DogeHouse up next. The Starcraft 2 caster and BlizzCon champion will have to take on Savjz next, making it his third consecutive series against a team mate. Which doge will not only bark, but bite?
