The Card of the Day is the Priest's special minion that gives the class a unique edge in terms of play.
PROS: Gives the Priest a sudden, new offensive power. For 4 mana, it is a decent mid to late game card that can surprise opponents thinking you are all about sustain. It also has a sturdy 3/5 body, meaning it can take good punishment if it becomes a target for minion trades or removal. Being a rare card, it isn't that difficult to craft, especially since it usually works as a one-off. It can turn [card]Circle of Healing[/card] and other defensive spells into devasting sweeps and damage cards, as well as your hero power becoming a more powerful Mage ping.
CONS: The synergy takes a while to work, meaning if you are facing powerful aggro decks such as Face Hunter, you might not have enough time to clear the board. It can also put players in the dangerous mindset of reserving its healing spells to usein conjunction with it.
