Our Card of the Day for Valentine's is the bald, pinging assassin capable of ruining any aggro deck's day.
PROS: A 3/3 minion for three mana, it is a decent threat. However, what gives SI:7 Agent great value is its combo effect. Being able to deal two damage to any character, he can take out many early-game threats such as [card]Knife Juggler[/card], [card]Arcane Golem[/card], and even [card]Faerie Dragon[/card], as it is neither a hero power nor a spell. Cast right after cheap Rogue spells such as [card]Deadly Poison[/card] and [card]Backstab[/card], you can take out multiple targets is one go. He is great against aggro decks that rely on swarm tactics such as Warlock, Paladin, and Hunter.
CONS: If you started with a poor hand or was forced to cast combo-initiators on an earlier turn, simply putting him on the board would be very inefficient, especially if you compare it to other 3-drops like [card]Harvest Golem[/card]. Also, while the two damage is effective in the early to mid stages of the game, drawing this late with a hand that lacks damage cards won't be enough to take out bigger bodies like [card]Molten Giant[/card] and [card]Cairne Bloodhoof[/card]
