February 11th's Card of the Day is our wave-making buddy who annoys axe-cleaving orcs and sword swinging humans everywhere.
PROS: This massive 3/6 body is both hard to remove through damage and will freeze whatever he hits, giving you big momentum. Its tanky stats, combined with taunt-givers such as [card]Sunfury Protector[/card] and [card]Defender of Argus[/card] enable him to become a very efficient staller, forcing opponents to risk freezing or throwing away high impact cards such as [card]Assassinate[/card]. This makes him a must-have for aspiring control mages, as they get to learn how to slow down the game's pace to their favor. The freeze upon contact mechanic also serves as a perfect counter to weapon wielding classes such as Warriors and Paladins.
CONS: Aggro mages would prefer something with a little more oompf, like [card]Fireball[/card]. Speaking of which, he competes with a lot of great Mage cards for the 4-slot position like the one mentioned, plus other strong ones like [card]Polymorph[/card] and [card]Cone of Cold[/card]. Being a minion, it has to wait till the next turn for it to be of any use, and unless it gets buffed with a taunt, many aggro classes such as Hunter and Warlock will simply pass him by.
