ESGN's Fight Night is already under way. In tournament's opening match, DogeHouse's Gnimsh brought his Hunter deck to StrifeCro's face for a quick 3-0, giving an early lead to his team.
StrifeCro and Gnimsh sat in the chairs with quite some history between them. The first two seasons of Fight Night paired them against each other twice in the ace matches of Season 1 and Season 2. Liquid Value's renowned deckbuilder managed to defeat the Pole twice, 3-0'ing him in both series by using Druid in the first and Mage in the second so last night was Gnimsh's chance of getting his revenge.
And revenge he got. The former WoW TCG pro pulled out a Hunter deck and went on a killing spree until every single deck of StrifeCro's - including the control Warrior which is a known hard-counter to the Hunter aggro - was defeated.
Gnimsh's victory awards $250 to himself and another $250 so DogeHouse are $500 ahead of Liquid Value. The second match for the season will be played today at 21:00 CET.
