Decklists from KOTH #8: Savjz vs Trump

The eight episode of the Hearthstone King of the Hill is out, this time featuring Finland's Savjz against US' Trump. As it is KOTH tradition, each player was required to bring four decks of different classes and change them after loss.

As Trump won the challenge in six game, we only got to see three of his four decks. The renowned streamer and arena master opened the series with a standard Rogue deck which won against Savjz's Druid but lost against Warlock. Trump changed to Warlock (featuring an unorthodox 3-drop in King Mukla) to play a mirror in game three and also defeated Savjz's Rogue deck before losing to a Paladin build. He brought an aggro Mage in game six to close the series.

The four-time KOTH champion opened with a very slow, control-oriented Druid build that was a staple for the majority of Test Season 1, featuring lots of legendaries, big bodies and taunters. His Warlock deck is more mid-range oriented and features strange choices for the class like Ironbeak Owl, Earten Ring Farseer, Nat Pagle and Ragnaros. Same goes for his Rogue deck that has mixed Nat Pagle and Ragnaros in otherwise standard Rogue build.

Savjz's quirky builds finish with his Paladin deck of choice. Although mostly set for control, the Savjz's Paladin doesn't run Wild Pyromancer/Equality combo and instead has mixed in some early and mid game aggression with Argent Squires, Argent Protector and Sword of Justice. The curve ends with the obligatory Lay on Hands and Tirion Fordring.
