Hi Twisted! You are currently the leader of the StarGate ladder with the account name "FlameOfTheWest". How come you chose to use that name?If you've watched Lord of the Rings you'd know : ) no I just wanted to think of some cool name because I didn't wanna use iD.Twisted for StarGate. And I came up with this and I wanted to make it in Europe before but it was taken, so I made it my Stargate nick :p
How come you did not want to use Twisted as your account? Could you give a more detailed explanation to all this smurfing at ladders by good players?
I used iD.Twisted in the beta season and this might sound arrogant, but I don't want 2523 people whispering me with useless chatter. Now that this aka is known I'll probably get that as well, but I don't care that much anymore because at least they don't ask me for a game anymore, because I'm too high haha :P I think smurfing is done to play at ease. If you play on your real account, and people save replays they expect something from you, also if you lose they say useless shit about you, so I think it's just for their privacy
What is your overall experience of StarGate after it has been open more than a week?
Apart from the Probe incident, I think everything went really smooth, skill level is pretty good for the average gamer, but it's really hard to find games now and then especially when you get so high up on the ladder. But for people that can't breach 1100 it's a great server where they can practice without hackers, and with gm people. Admins are also doing a good job, answering all questions etc.
At least it's a lot better than WGTour with a bot that doesn't even respond to my messages anymore.. and it's always down and it lags, not to mention the amount of hackers and cheaters in WGTour!
I know you spoke about this but what do you think about the skill level of the server? Was it easy reaching the #1?
Skill level is allright, not top notch like Gamei was (and I'm not talking about that Russian gamei), but for that you really need Koreans. Also top non-koreans don't play much these days either.. I think it needs a few weeks more to raise activity and skill level. And it wasn't too hard reaching the #1 no :P but that might be a lot harder in the future of course.
Where do you expect to be ending up in the playoffs? Which opponent do you fear the most?
Any zerg opponent, because I suck vs zerg :D the rest shouldn't be too hard. The one I fear the most of course is my sweetheart SummerOf69!

Do you think we should allow open reset of any accounts and/or changing username at any time?
I think you shouldn't allow resetting statistics. Just because someone is a statslover, doesn't mean you should allow it. It neglects true skill, only thing that matters in a ladder like this is rating. Not stats, everyone can dodge good players and get good stats. About account changing, I don't have any problems if people want to change that, but you shouldn't always allow it. Just make it so you can only change like 3 times a month, or make restrictions on it so people have to give a valid reason why they want to switch.
