WGTCL Round 7 results

[s]event_wgtcl[/s]Woah, these weeks have sure gone fast. And in WGTCL, it hasn't been any exception. All the matches have been played, and the winning teams are still having the sweet taste of victory in their mouths. But now, the season is over.
Seven matches were to determine the winner, and here we have it. Let's start off with the highest Division, which was won by an interesting and very oldschool team wearing the Europe tag.

And the winners of the first Division in WGTCL are... Team.iD! With seven wins in a row and a final score of 33 points they swept through the Division as the best team. With members like iD.Twisted, iD.Anon and iD.MidiaN, they crushed HnR) in the final round with 5-0.

The last four teams, iv., uT), RSGaming and -=iG=- will be the ones who move down a level, according to the WGTCL rules. The other ones will stay in the Division, if they wish, I guess.

The two teams that will move up to the 1st Division is (TE) and anSWers World! Even though anSWers World have one less game played, they still managed to beat Mas-1 with 1 point. I'm not excatly sure on how they will do when two teams have the same score and they are at the 4th and the 5th place. Maybe a tie-break, I don't know. The teams under the line will be the ones who move down, if this ranking will stand.

In Division 2b the teams that move up are LG) and DBE! It was a close call on what teams that would move down a level, as SoL, -=OK=- and ash have about the same amount of points. But, the line was drawn, and the teams below it will move down to Division 3.

Ending wordsIt has been an interesting season, some teams have shown greater power than some could imagine. I'm glad that you have taken part in this series of newsposts where I kept you posted on what's happened in the three highest Divisions. I hope you liked it as much as I did.

Last, I would like to thank » WGTour who has arranged and administrated this Clanleague the best they could. It's nice with a clanleague, and I think that it will be even bigger next season.
