What new Trainees and alts are coming to Umamusume in July?

Summer Gold Ship is a must-pull thanks to her exceptional Legacy potential. She is an End Closer with an A aptitude for Turf, Medium, and Long-distance races, alongside 20% Power and 10% Wit growth bonuses. Her standout feature is her Unique Skill, "Adventure of 564", which not only increases speed, but also allows Rare Skills to activate without meeting their usual conditions.

The Summer alternative of Mejiro McQueen is a Pace Chaser who excels on Turf over Medium and Long distances. She offers an 8% bonus to both Speed and Stamina, alongside a substantial 14% Wit bonus. Her Unique Skill, "The Sea Glitters, but You're Dazzling", increases speed when she is leading during the second half of the race, with a longer duration depending on her remaining stamina.

Bamboo Memory, featured in the second banner, is a Late Surger with an A aptitude for Turf, Short, and Mile races. She carries 10% bonuses to Speed, Power, and Guts. Her Unique Skill, "Hot-Blooded Disciplinary Attack!", complements her running style by increasing acceleration when racing from the back of the pack, with additional duration and effect strength for each runner overtaken, up to a maximum of three.

The third banner introduces Copano Rickey, a Front Runner and Pace Chaser specialising in Dirt races over Mile and Medium distances. She has a 10% Power bonus and a 20% Wit bonus. Her Unique Skill, "Luck Comes to the Prepared", grants speed and acceleration during the second half of the middle leg, with stronger effects depending on the number of Green Skills activated throughout the race.

Next is Smart Falcon's Grand Live outfit. She is a Front Runner who shines on Dirt tracks over Mile and Medium distances. Her stat bonuses are an impressive 20% Speed and 10% Wit. Her Unique Skill, "α-star", increases speed when leading at the halfway point of the race, while also providing stamina recovery on Dirt tracks.

Rounding out the month are Steampunk versions of Narita Taishin and Winning Ticket.

Narita Taishin (Steampunk) is an End Closer specialising in Turf, Medium, and Long-distance races. She boasts a 14% Wit bonus, alongside 8% bonuses to both Guts and Stamina. Her Unique Skill, "Hephaistos", increases her speed when positioned in the middle of the pack during the second half of the race after the final corner.

Winning Ticket (Steampunk) is a Late Surger who excels on Turf over Medium distances. She receives a 14% Power bonus and 8% bonuses to both Speed and Guts. Her Unique Skill, "Delivering Beyond the Dreams!", activates if she is not leading on the final straight, increasing her speed and granting an additional speed bonus for every skill activated while the effect is active.

What Umamusume events are coming in July?

The summer story event, "Make a Splash! Summer Showdown!", runs from 2–14 July. The event stars Mejiro McQueen, Gold Ship, Nakayama Festa, Maruzensky, and Sakura Chiyono O–many of this month's featured banner characters. By participating, players can earn a free Sakura Chiyono O (Guts SSR).
