A new Forgotten and Secret Tier fish have just dropped!
Roblox’s Fish It–a game of fishing simulation and vigorous species collecting–launched its latest update, introducing “Retro Island” alongside plenty of new content, including several ultra-high-rarity fish to hunt for.
Here’s everything added in the latest update released over the weekend.
What new location and fishes are in Roblox’s Fish It?
A brand-new area, Retro Island, has arrived in the game’s massive world, bringing its own weather patterns, mutations and rare fish species. Natural disasters will occur randomly on the island every two hours, so players should stay prepared for whichever weather event they are targeting–whether by setting a timer or keeping an eye on relevant Discord pings.
Naturally, the update also introduces new sea creatures to catch, including a brand-new Forgotten Tier fish, a Secret Tier fish, and more than 18 new species overall.

The Forgotten Tier fish is a silver, monstrous deep-sea creature known as the Frostbite Leviathan, while the Secret Tier fish is the gigantic blue long-necked Blocky Lochness Monster.
For those unfamiliar with the game’s rarity system, Forgotten Tier is a newly introduced ultra-rare category with a staggering 1-in-25-million catch rate, making it six times rarer than Secret Tier fish, which has a 1-in-4-million catch rate.
Restricted Fishing Area and new rewards
Retro Island also introduces a Restricted Fishing Area containing special fish species–likely a hot spot to grab the new rarities. To access it, players must unlock a quest-exclusive rod by completing a currently undisclosed quest.
The update additionally brings a limited-time free Classic Battlepass, allowing players to fish for Tix and unlock rewards through progression.
Other new additions include a Bloxy Cola Potion, Body Swap Emote, and limited-time Fire and Noob Mutations.
The Retro Island event will run for three weeks, giving players limited time to catch the exclusive new creatures and earn rewards.
