Overwatch is getting a new hero and Webtoon series.
Blizzard Entertainment had two big announcements for Overwatch fans this week. First, the game’s 51st hero has been revealed via early key art ahead of her debut trailer release next week. Second, an all-new Webtoon series entitled Overwatch Undivided is officially out now, chronicling the adventures of the Overwatch team post-Season 1.

Who is Overwatch’s Hero 51?
Blizzard Entertainment has revealed Overwatch’s next hero via new key art. However, the developer has not confirmed a name for the hero–only teasing that players will learn more about her in an upcoming trailer launching on 8 April, next week. The hero will join Overwatch’s playable roster when Season 2 launches later in April.
We don’t know much about Hero 51, but from this newly-released artwork, we can safely speculate that she's not a part of Talon. The hero has a red jacket tied around her waist, a red beret, a long rifle weapon, a similarly long pink braid, and a bird-like flying drone.
We’ll learn more about Hero 51 when her Hero Trailer launches on 8 April, 2026.
Where to read Overwatch: Undivided Webtoon
Here’s some good news for Overwatch lore enthusiasts: Blizzard has surprise-released a brand-new Overwatch Webtoon series entitled Overwatch: Undivided. The comic series takes place during and after the events of Season 1, which kicked off this year’s ongoing Reign of Talon storyline.
Overwatch: Undivided will run for 40 episodes on Webtoon, meaning that there will be 40 issues of the comic series. Three episodes are currently available to read, though you’ll need the Webtoon FastPass to read episodes 4–6. Here’s the Webtoon series’ synopsis:
"In the aftermath of Talon’s strike on Watchpoint: Gibraltar, the heroes of Overwatch take in their devastating defeat. But Vendetta is far from finished, launching attacks around the world on research facilities, military bases, and major cities. As Sojourn rallies the weary heroes to face Talon wherever they strike, she receives crushing news that calls everything she’s stood for into question: When the world says it doesn’t need heroes, can Overwatch still stand, undivided?"
The Webtoon series will offer some much-needed clarity on the events that occurred during Talon’s attack on Watchpoint: Gibraltar, which serves as Overwatch’s headquarters. The first few issues follow Overwatch members caught up in the attack, including Juno, D.va, Baptiste, Cassidy, Reinhardt, Genji, and Zarya.
Episodes 1–3 of Overwatch: Undivided are now available on Webtoon.
