Apparently, crashing an RV with your mates has been the new weekend plan.
Another co-op chaos-inducing title is speeding up the Steam charts. RV There Yet?, a four-player physics-based adventure from Nuggets Entertainment, has officially surpassed 100,000 concurrent players, according to data tracked by SteamDB. The indie release has quickly risen into Steam’s global best-sellers list just days after launch. This makes RV There Yet? the tenth indie game to have more than 100,000 concurrent players this year.
The concept is simple but chaotic. Players must steer a battered recreational vehicle across Mabutts Valley while juggling driving, repairs, cooking, and survival. While one player handles the wheel, others are tasked with keeping the RV intact: extinguishing fires, patching holes, or crafting tools to keep the journey going. The developers describe it as “a road trip with friends where the vehicle is the main character.”
Strong launch driven by word of mouth
The title’s rise has been largely organic, fuelled by player clips and word of mouth across Reddit and X. Streamers quickly picked up the game after launch, with gameplay highlights showing frantic moments of teamwork, and frequent disaster, drawing attention from fans of Overcooked and Moving Out.
According to its Steam page, the game can be played solo or with up to four players online, featuring “a steady flow of burgers, antidotes, and the classic: EpiPens” to keep the crew alive.
The game was originally a game jam prototype
In an interview shared by GamesRadar, Nuggets Entertainment revealed that RV There Yet? began life as a short game jam project earlier this year. The prototype proved popular enough to justify a full commercial release, which the small team managed to complete in just a few months without going through Early Access.
The developers noted that the initial launch version already included all major features, with updates now focused on optimisation and player feedback.
Upcoming updates and new features planned
Following the strong reception, Nuggets Entertainment confirmed that several post-launch improvements are underway. These include controller support, Steam Deck verification, achievements, localisation options, and fixes to physics and keybinding systems.
With a growing player base and ongoing support, RV There Yet? looks set to remain a staple of the co-op charts for the coming weeks. The game is available on Steam for US$7.19.
