Dragon Ball Fighter Z is adding a new fighter and balance update.
Arc System Works and Bandai Namco Entertainment’s fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ is getting a chunky new update, much to the shock of its playerbase. Dragon Ball FighterZ drops new update, adds Super Saiyan Daima Goku in 2026
The popular fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ is coming back swinging, thanks to the confirmation of an all-new playable fighter in the horizon: Super Saiyan 4 Daima Goku. This version of Goku hails from Dragon Ball Daima, an anime created by franchise creator and beloved mangaka Akira Toriyama before his passing in 2024.
The announcement of Super Saiyan 4 Goku’s arrival was timed with the release of an all-new balance update this week, touching up the game’s entire playable roster with new changes. That will likely inject new life in the game’s playerbase ahead of the new fighter's launch next year, as players re-learn the ropes of their favourite characters.
Dragon Ball FighterZ’s new fighter Super Saiyan 4 Goku will arrive in 2026.
