Good news for the few people who don’t already own Stardew Valley.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed the upcoming PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for September. Next month, Psychonauts 2, Stardew Valley, and Viewfinder will be available for subscribers to redeem at no additional cost.
The games will become available on 2 September, 2025.
All of PlayStation Plus’ games for September
Every month, the basic PlayStation Plus subscription tier offers access to three new Monthly Games at no additional cost. These games are available to keep for as long as users stay subscribed to PlayStation Plus. Next month is no exception, as users are set to get access to the following Monthly Games:
- Psychonauts 2 (PlayStation 4)
- Stardew Valley (PlayStation 4)
- Viewfinder (PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5)
Psychonauts 2 is a platforming game developed by Double Fine and published by Xbox Game Studios, following a young psychic named Razputin “Raz” Aquato, who has joined an organisation of psychic super spies. The game has players flex Raz’s psychic powers to uncover conspiracies in a series of increasingly surreal levels.
Stardew Valley is a modern classic of its own right. This farming simulator is inspired by the Harvest moon series, tasking the player with redeveloping a farm plot and befriending the residents of their local town. As players breathe new life into Pelican Town, they’ll also be able to head down into the mines, battle monsters, and uncover lands previously unseen.
Viewfinder is an interesting game that uses a camera lens to help players reshape reality. Using an instant camera, players can bring photos, paintings, and even postcards to life while solving various puzzles, and unearthing the mysteries behind this world.
All three of these titles will be available to claim starting from 2 September, 2025. Don’t forget to claim August’s Monthly Games before they disappear, too!
