Genshin Impact Version 5.5 details and what to expect
The upcoming Genshin Impact Version 5.5 will feature the debut banners of Iansan and Varesa, who are both characters from the nation of Natlan. The version update special program preview is set to stream on 14 March, 2025, at 8 AM (UTC-4), or 8PM SGT, and will divulge further information about the new quests, character kits, banner lineups, and more. There will also be livestream codes that will offer rich rewards!
Iansan will wield the Electro element, and may possibly have a 5-star rarity considering her prominence during the Natlan storyline, and as the bearer of the Ancient Name ‘Uwezo’. A weapon is yet to be confirmed for her, but considering how she uses her fists to fight, she might well be a catalyst-user similar to Shikanoin Heizou and Wriothesley.
Varesa will wield the Electro element, and is known as a stalwart warrior and an orchard owner from the Collective of Plenty. Iansan describes Varesa as her most unusual pupil, known for her laid-back and childish personality.
