Abed and Jabz will serve as stand-ins for PlayTime following the departures of DarkMago and Frank earlier this month.

PlayTime have announced they will be playing with

Abed Azel “Abed” Yusop and 
Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong as stand-ins for Games of the Future 2026, a Tier 2 tournament hosted in Astana, Kazakhstan from 31 July to 5 August.
Abed and Jabz will be taking over the spots vacated by mid laner 
Gonzalo “DarkMago” Herrera and Frank “Frank” Arias, who both left PlayTime earlier this month.
DarkMago and Frank's departure from PlayTime followed an incident during the recently-concluded Dota 2 Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026 where two team members were provisionally suspended from the event amid an integrity investigation.
In the Dota 2 EWC, PlayTime were initially slated to face 
Vici Gaming in the first round of the Survival Stage, but the match was indefinitely postponed after tournament organisers announced that an "integrity issue was identified and referred for review".
The Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC), the integrity partner for EWC 2026, confirmed that it had launched an investigation into "suspected breaches of the ESIC Anti-Corruption Code and Player Code of Conduct", specifically naming PlayTime sports director Juan “Vintage” David Angulo Nicho and mid laner DarkMago.
Both individuals were “prohibited from participating, directly or indirectly, in EWC 2026 and all ESIC Member events while the investigation remains ongoing,” which then led to PlayTime forfeiting their match against Vici Gaming and subsequently getting eliminated from the tournament. However, ESIC emphasised that "no final determination of guilt has been made" at this stage.
Shortly after the incident, DarkMago and Vintage left PlayTime. While Frank also parted ways with the team at the same time, the player insisted that his departure had no relation to the integrity incident from the Dota 2 EWC 2026.
PlayTime have since stated they will be cooperating with the relevant authorities as the investigation into the incident continues and that they looking to restructure the team around its three remaining players in Máximo “Wits” Orozco Alza, Elvis “Scofield” De la Cruz Peña, and Yelstin “elmisho” Verde.
It remains to be seen if Abed and Jabz will only serve as stand-ins for PlayTime for the Games of the Future 2026, or if the event will serve as a trial period for the two players before officially joining the team.
Games of the Future 2026 features 16 participating teams, with that number notably featuring four teams that will be playing in The International 2026 in August, namely 
Xtreme Gaming, Team Resilience, and Vici Gaming from China as well as
LGD Gaming from South America.
