Leviatán part ways with Taiga

Two weeks after new evidence of Tommy "Taiga" Le working with Russian match fixers surfaced, Leviatán have officially parted ways with the player.

Tommy "Taiga" Le first spoke about his gambling addiction half a year ago when he was already benched on the OG roster. Since then he stepped out of the competitive scene and focused on battling anxiety and depression through therapy.

While he didn’t get any kind of punishment from Valve or any third party tournament organisers, Taiga was given a second chance by Leviatán. He joined the South American organisation last month and got to play under their banner in two separate qualifier battles. Leviatán fell short, however, of a qualifier spot to both DreamLeague Season 23 and PGL Wallachia Season 1.

Following the qualifier battle, a new incriminating video that shows how Taiga worked with the Russian match fix mafia and how he placed bets on his professional games during the Dota Pro Circuit in 2023 surfaced on the internet.

In light of the recent allegation, Leviatán officially announced their decision to split ways with Taiga. While Valve is yet to take a stance on the whole Taiga situation, his former team is gearing up for the rest of the competitive season and welcomed Kenny "Xepher" Deo to their ranks.

Leviatán roster

 Samuel “Sammyboy” Anderson
