The day ends poorly for China at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024; Xtreme Gaming head home

Xtreme Gaming took a crushing defeat at the hands of Team Liquid to be the second Chinese team of the day to be eliminated from BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024. 

BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 playoffs continued with another Chinese team's tournament life on the line. Xtreme Gaming went head to head with one of Europe's most fierce competitors, Team Liquid , and things were not pretty for China.

In the first game of the series was a stark contrast to the two games in the previous series. This game lasted almost a full hour – 56 minutes to be exact. Team Liquid mostly had the upper hand for the bulk of the match. About 20 minutes in Xtreme had a bit of damage and survivability on their end but just couldn't make it work. Without a clear target or focus they just couldn't wrap themselves around Team Liquid. The team wipe at that point made things even more difficult and as much as Wang "Ame" Chunyu playing his heart out on Naga Siren, trying to prolong the game, they just couldn't turn it back around for themselves. 

In the second match, Aydin "iNSaNiA" Sarkohi was running all around the map and TL had some excellent moves while Ame had one of his worst starts in recent memory. About 28 minutes in a huge team fight in favor of Team Liquid blew the doors wide open. It went from being even to a 10k lead. It wasn't much longer with another favorable fight for Liquid and the game was pretty much done. 

Team Liquid will continue in the lower brackets to fight their way to the grand finals. 

Xtreme Gaming goes home in 7-8th place and $35,000 in their pockets. 

The action will resume tomorrow, February 13th with two upper-bracket semi-finals
