Tundra Esports without a roster once again

Less than a month after signing the ex-TSM roster, Tundra Esports is looking at starting anew once again.

Former TI11 Champions, Tundra Esports went through a tumultuous 2023 year and fell from grace after placing just 13th - 16th at TI12 in Seattle. In the event’s aftermath, they lost the entire roster, but days ahead of ESL One Kuala Lumpur, which marked the last big tournament of 2023, the organisation found the opportunity to sign a whole line-up. TSM had just parted ways with their Dota 2 team and Tundra were fast on picking up the line-up.

However, once arrived in Kuala Lumpur under the Tundra Esports banner, the roster finished middle of the pack, ending the year in the 7th - 8th place. Heading into the new year with an invite to the Western Europe closed qualifiers for the $1,000,000 BetBoom Dacha Dubai, Tundra dropped four players and their coach from the team.

While Timado, Bryle, kasane, Immersion, and coach MoonMeander were thanked for their short time under the Tundra banner, Whitemon remains under their banner, and will most likely be a part of the new Tundra Esports roster.

There is not much time left for Tundra to introduce their new Dota 2 team. The Western Europe closed qualifiers for BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 are set to start on January 11. Tundra are invited straight to the closed qualifiers leg alongside, OG, Entity, Team Secret, Team Tickles and a yet to be revealed squad.
