With the start of the new year, Enzo "Timado" Gianoli will be seeking new opportunities with new teammates for the 2023-24 season as he parts ways with Tundra.
It has been a long and winding road for the players of Team Undying →TSM →Undying→Tundra Esports. Formed in January 2021 this group has mostly stuck together through the revolving door of NA sponsors and not. Team Undying made it to TI10 fighting without an organization behind them the whole year and even when they achieved their goal, they still had to rely on their fans to be able to set up a boot camp via crowdfunding.
Between October-December 2022 the team went through some significant changes in the lineup with Kim "DuBu" Doo-young, David "MoonMeander" Tan Boon, and Jonáš "SabeRLight-" Volek leaving the competitive roster. But Enzo "Timado" Gianoli was still there.
Until now.
Timado is an SA prodigy and was the first carry from SA to qualify for TI, back in 2017 with Infamous. Despite his young age has already tried a couple of times to switch regions and he has a fair share of dramas attached to his name, but one thing nobody can deny is his talent and mechanical gift when it comes down to playing the game.
With Timado's diverse region experience, there is no telling where he may end up next. There is no word yet on who his replacement will be in Tundra either.
Moving into the new year, February brings around BetBoom Dacha Dubai, a $1,000,000 LAN event in Dubai from February 4-16th. The open qualifiers begin right after the new year. In addition, the EPT will resume in February with DreamLeague Season 22, followed by an ESL One LAN tournament hosted in Birmingham in the second part of April.
